Dr. Tykeila Tisdale, CMHC Student Intern

I hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Health Administration, and I am currently in the final stages of completing an additional Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have a strong background in community outreach, having partnered with the Department of Education to support families of at-risk elementary students. My work has included assisting with funding for tutoring services, advocating for students at risk of retention, and helping establish or revise IEPs to ensure each child’s educational needs are met. Alongside, tutoring children as well.

Currently, I work in case management within a hospital organization, where I combine my healthcare administration expertise with my passion for patient and family advocacy.
