Hello, my name is Alyssa, I am a registered clinical social work intern in the state of Florida. I graduated with my master's in social work at Fordham University in 2023 and also completed my bachelor's in social work in 2021. I have recently moved to Florida from Washington state and also have my clinical license in the state of Washington. I have worked with the full lifespan in my social work career including as a care coordinator for children and families for intensive wraparound services, a mental health crisis worker in Seattle, lead therapist at Kaiser Permanente primary care clinic, and as a medical social worker in home health and hospice. My expertise is working with individuals with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and SMI. In my spare time, I really enjoy nature walks with my two red heelers, watching movies and comedy shows, checking out new restaurants, and cooking. My approach to therapy includes trauma informed, person centered and have experience in multiple clinical therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution focused, and family systems therapy. Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Saint Leo University. I see therapy as a shared journey, where we move through each step together in a way that feels comfortable and supportive. I’m passionate about helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I have a particular interest in working with the LGBTQ+ community. My goal is to develop a safe and relaxing space for clients to be themselves and feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges.

I find that creativity is one of the best ways to express emotions, and I love doing that through art, music, and getting lost in a good book. I believe self-care plays an important role in healing, and I encourage my clients to make space for it in their lives.

Hello there! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you. I hold bachelor's and master’s degrees in psychology (2019 and 2021) and a master’s degree in clinical social work (2025). I’m also a doctoral candidate in psychology. Outside of work, when I’m not spending time with my girlfriend I enjoy reading and writing, playing the bass guitar, and photography.

I enjoy working with teenagers and adults and have previously supported people as a crisis counselor, high school social worker, private practice therapist, and in a residential program for intellectually disabled and other neurodivergent adults. Some challenges with which I’ve assisted people include anger management; anxiety; bullying; depression; compassion; self-esteem; grief and loss; the aftermath of interpersonal violence and sexual abuse; trauma; burnout, work-life balance, and stress; parenting; shame; personal growth and life-stage transitions; caregiving for the elderly; and family and relationship problems. I’m passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, to which work I bring autistic-ADHD lived experience, as well as LGBTQ community members.

I work in a way that’s relational, compassionate, sensitive, collaborative, empowering, curious, considerate of your strengths. In assessing problems, I consider how people are affected by their environments and strive to cultivate a warm, nonjudgmental, safe therapeutic space where they feel able to be themselves. I have a strong background in community outreach, having partnered with the Department of Education to support families of at-risk elementary students. My work has included assisting with funding for tutoring services, advocating for students at risk of retention, and helping establish or revise IEPs to ensure each child’s educational needs are met. Alongside, tutoring children as well.

Currently, I work in case management within a hospital organization, where I combine my healthcare administration expertise with my passion for patient and family advocacy.

Roderick Maul, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, is a dedicated advocate for all populations with over six years of experience in the field. His passion for supporting families and improving outcomes began during his undergraduate studies at Miles College and continued to grow as he pursued advanced education. He earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Western Kentucky University (WKU) in 2019, where he made history as the first graduate student worker at the LifeSkills Center for Child Welfare Education and Research. In this role, he contributed to critical research and community initiatives aimed at strengthening many social systems. His work reflects a deep-rooted commitment to advocacy, academic excellence, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable populations. My name is Moya. I moved to the United States from Jamaica when I was 13 years old and have lived in several states, but I consider Florida my second home. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Social Work and a graduate-level certificate in Children’s Mental Health from the University of South Florida in May 2025. I am currently a school social worker with Hillsborough County Public Schools where I counsel students ages 11 to 14 who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Anxiety Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), and Intellectual Disability (InD).
